I.G.T. Trevenezie
An elegant blend of Malvasia Istriana, Chardonnay and Riesling Renano, with a long-lasting finish.
Pale yellow white wine. Once poured into the glass you can feel notes of Williams pear, elderflower and light honeyed aromas, with a clean and delicate aromatic profile. The Malvasia and Chardonnay give volume and roundness while the acidity given by the Rhine Riesling gives finesse and authenticity.
AppellationBianco I.G.T. Trevenezie
GrapesMalvasia Istriana, Chardonnay and Riesling Renano; in different quantities depending on the characteristics of the vintage and the yield of the vineyards.
VineyardsLocated on the estates of Cortona di Fiumicello, where once Torre stream flowed, the terrains are principally make up of silt, sand and clay and they are rich in active limestone.
HarvestIn the first half of September, the Chardonnay and Malvasia Istriana grapes are harvested first, followed by the Riesling Renano grapes.
VinificationThe three different grapes are harvested and vinificated separately. Chardonnay and Malvasia have to undergo a cold pre-fermentation maceration for a few hours then follow pressing and fermentation. As concerns Riesling, it is harvested, pressed and then left to ferment in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Once finished alcoholic fermentation, the wine refines on the fine lees for a few months. These three wines, in Spring, are blended giving rise to Album wine.
